Installation

This example shows the Water-Hub connected to drinking and non-potable water tanks with an optional hot water system, supplying a shower/dish outlet and a drinking water tap fed only from the drinking water tank.

Plumb the two water source inputs: the drinking water tank and the external pickup. Connect the water heater using HW OUT (cold feed) and HW IN (hot return). Attach the outlets: the tap (cold only, from the tank) and the shower (hot or cold via the mixing valve, from the external pickup and heater). Connect a 12V power supply. The hub uses two pumps, each with its own switch, one for the tank and one for the external pickup. Operate the outlets directly via taps. Pumps turn on and off automatically through an inbuilt pressure switch.

The Drink Water or Fresh Water tank feeds both the Tap and the Shower Outlet while the Grey Water tank only feeds the Shower Outlet.

What connections come standard with the Water-Hub?
Each pump includes one male and one female QK Series connector for straightforward connections.

Can I use my own connectors instead of the supplied ones?
Yes, the fitted connectors can be removed and replaced with alternatives of your choice or hardwired.

Does the Water-Hub come with switches?
The base unit does not include switches. The optional Electric Connection Kit provides 2 LED on/off switches with a 4m cable. The switch kit is optional in case you want to do your own wiring with switches that are not located in the hub itself. That way you can run a switched power supply to each pump.

What does the Electric Connection Kit do?
Each switch harness connects to a pump, allowing you to turn each on/off independently.
